Flower arranging afternoon for Cheshire ResidentsAcorn Hollow care home activities team organised for Residents to take part in a flower arranging afternoon.

Seven Residents were provided with a vase and asked if they would create a nice display of in-season flowers. Lots of different flower options were provided and there were many colours and types to choose from. They all kept saying how lovely it smelt.

“These smell beautiful”, one Resident said she wanted to take hers back to her room.

Home Manager, Rachel Astles, remarked, “This activity is great for everyone involved as it requires a lot of patience and flower arranging is not always as easy as it looks. The Residents made some beautiful arrangements”.
