Floral crafts project blossoms at Newton Heath care homeResidents at Averill House care home in Newton Heath enjoyed working together to create a beautiful display together.

Each Resident painted a Forget Me Not flower, with each flower being displayed together as one.

The project enabled Residents to demonstrate their creative flair as they designed and painted their flowers, with each flower on the wall representing a particular Resident.

The new addition to Averill House aims to enhance Resident wellbeing, along with the home’s new sensory corner.

One Resident commented: “I have really enjoyed taking part in the painting, it is so therapeutic. The final product looks beautiful.”
