Residents and team members at HC-One’s Riverside View care home in Dundee enjoyed pancakes with their favourite toppings on Shrove Tuesday.
Staff assisted Residents in making their own pancakes, everyone had a go at flipping the pancake which had Residents smiling. A selection of toppings were available and Residents selected their favourites to add to their pancakes.
One Resident commented: “I always look forward to Shrove Tuesday and this year it didn’t disappoint. We had so much fun helping to make the pancakes, it took me right back to my younger years and I loved it.”
Lynsey Robbie, Home Manager at Riverside View said: “We know how much our Residents look forward to Pancake Day, so we always ensure we make it a special event for all.”
“It was great to see our Residents smiling and having fun, and talking about how they used to enjoyed pancakes with their friends and family when they were younger.”
