Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s The Gables care home were delighted to enjoy some flipping fun for Shrove Tuesday as they made their own pancakes.
Everyone took turns to flip their pancakes as they each got competitive to see how high they could flip theirs.
Residents later sat to enjoy some pancakes with a selection of toppings available to choose from. Some chose to enjoy theirs with lemon juice and sugar, whilst others opted to enjoy jam or chocolate spread with their pancakes.
A fun afternoon was had by all, as Residents reminisced of the pancake toppings they would enjoy as children. One commented: “That was so exciting and brought back such great memories. I love pancakes.”
