Fiddler’s Ferry employees support Beechcroft Care Home
Residents of Beechcroft, Runcorn are benefiting from some help with their garden as employees from the Fiddlers Ferry Power Station get digging and planting in the homes garden.

The team from Fiddlers Ferry spent the day at the home working alongside Residents and staff to spruce up the garden.  The team offer work in gardening, woodwork, and floristry with some people working one day a week and others Monday to Friday.  This is not the first time that employees from the power station have helped and supported members of the local community.

Fiddler’s Ferry SSE plant is based in Widnes. Gary Faulkner & Steve Davies are supporting residents, Fred Bradley & Arthur Williams to landscape the internal garden. They are with us for several weeks and Residents love their visits and getting outdoors.

Jenny Jobber, home manager said:

“We are delighted to receive help with our garden and look forward to the difference their input will make to allow our Residents to spend more time enjoying the outdoors. Building strong community links is very important and we would like to say a big thank you to the staff from Fiddlers Ferry for all their help! “
