HC-One’s Hollymere House care home in Haslington welcomed children from Haslington Primary School for a festive cake decorating session and afternoon tea.
Residents welcomed pupils from a local primary school, everyone released their inner festive spirit with some cake decorating, followed by a delicious afternoon tea.
The children from Haslington Primary School are regular visitors to the home, having enjoyed a variety of activities together, including singing, games and puzzles, the visits have helped create special friendship between both generations.
Residents always look forward to the visit, some have commented that it’s lovely to spend some time with such lovely children.
