Festive fun for Guisborough care home ResidentsResidents at HC-One’s Park House care home in Guisborough have enjoyed a busy festive calendar from visiting reindeer to rocking around the Christmas tree at their very own party.

On Friday 21st December, Residents headed out on the mini bus to visit Cherry Hill Nurseries to kick off their countdown to Christmas.

During the visit they all had the chance to meet real reindeer, local birds of prey and admire the beautiful Christmas lights. Before heading back to Park House, the group stopped in the coffee shop for a delicious homemade lunch.

The South Bank Brass Band visited Park House to perform a lovely mix of Christmas carols and popular tunes. The visit was extra special for one Resident, Harry Walters, as it was his wish to see his daughter, Maria perform with her band.

Harry’s face beamed with pride as he watched Maria perform during the most wonderful time of the year.

The celebrations continued on Sunday 23rd December with Park House’s Christmas Party, loved ones and members of the care team joined Residents for the festivities. Laurie Bennet performed throughout the party and had everyone dancing, singing and clapping along to their favourite Christmas hits.
