Festive fun at Eastleigh care homeResidents at HC-One’s Chandlers Ford care home in Eastleigh have enjoyed a busy festive period with a calendar full of exciting, fun-filled events.

The seasonal celebrations started on Monday 3rd December with a live performance from Ian Kimber, singing everyone’s festive favourites on the guitar. On Tuesday 4th December, ‘RUMS’ Romsey Choir visited to perform a variety of Christmas carols for Residents.

Wednesday 5th December, Dovetail Singers from Chandlers Ford Methodist Church visited the home to present their Christmas show and give their best wishes for the holiday season. 

On Friday, 7th December, twenty lovely little girls from the local Brownies group visited the home to sing Christmas carols. After their main performance in the lounge they visited Residents in their rooms who were unable to attend to ensure that no one missed their amazing performance. 

The week commencing the 10th December brought more festive cheer for all with a performance from John Sherborne on the keyboard, entertainer, Gary Matthews presented his Christmas Show.  Residents welcomed the Kidslingo group for some international festive fun, singing Christmas songs in Spanish.
