Christmas cheer filled the corridors at HC-One’s Ridgeway Lodge care home in Dunstable, as Residents welcomed in the festive season with a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 8th December.
Ridgeway Lodge opened its doors to members of the community, selling homemade gifts whilst enjoying seasonal hot drinks and nibbles. Visitors and Residents mingled as they browsed the stalls and shared festive wishes, over 100 people attended throughout the day including friends, family and members of the local community.
Mrs Jessica Ashley, a Resident at Ridgeway Lodge commented on what a great day she had, as did her fellow Residents who complimented the team at Ridgeway Lodge for organising such a fun-filled day.
Abi Ajiboye, Home Manager at Ridgeway Lodge said:
“Christmas is a time when people young and old should come together to celebrate the festive season. Everyone was in good spirits and enjoying what was on offer and we are delighted at the turnout.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, we managed to raise over £800, much more than we have raised in other years. The Bazaar really got us counting down the days to Christmas at Ridgeway Lodge.”
