Residents at HC-One’s Beaconsfield Court care home Barnard Castle enjoyed a busy festive season in the run up to Christmas Day.
Beaconsfield Court kicked off the festive celebrations with a Winter Fayre, selling homemade gifts, baked goods and seasonal treats to visitors, Residents loved browsing the different stalls and chatting with new and familiar faces.
The annual Christmas Party held at Beaconsfield Court is always an enjoyable event for all, this year, local entertainer Mark Carter performed for Residents, Relatives and Colleagues. Everyone took part in a festive quiz, indulged in a delicious homemade buffet and danced the night away.
In true Christmas spirit, the home also organised a collection for a Christmas Hamper to donate to the local food bank and opened its doors to members of the local community who would otherwise be alone on Christmas Day.
