Feathered friends make a flying visit to Grimsby care homeResidents at Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby were delighted to welcome some new feathered friends for a birds of prey experience.

Birds of prey expert Derek Tindall visited the home to give Residents a first-hand experience with his beautiful birds.

Many people living at the home plucked up the courage to stroke and even hold the birds, as they found out more about their eating habits and habitats.

The snowy owl was a firm favourite amongst many Residents, as Barbara commented: “It’s so soft, it feels like silk.”

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience, with Colleagues at Clarendon Hall even hoping to book another visit from Derek in the New Year.
