Residents at HC-Ones
Falstone Court, residential and nursing home, in Sunderland, took a trip town to the local beach.
Residents and Colleagues set off in their minibus and drove to Seaham for a lovely day out. Whilst at the beach Residents enjoyed fish and chips, with plenty of salt and vinegar.
The Residents reminisced about going to the seaside when they were children, telling each other all their stories.
A special mention goes out to Keith, the minibus driver as Residents said he was very helpful and fun.
Residents commented, “It has been a lovely day” and “It was lovely to be out again.”
One Resident said, “The hot fish and chips with batter was my favourite.”
Julie Merritt, Care Home Manager, expressed, “It was so lovely to see all of our Residents enjoy their time at the seaside. They loved it.”
