HC-One’s Falstone Court Care Home in Roker, Tyne and Wear have been basking in the beautiful weather we’ve had recently by doing a spot of gardening.
Residents and the team from Falstone Court have been busy in the garden recently, refreshing the planters, pots and hanging baskets in time for summer.
Motivated by the beautiful weather we’ve had recently, they’ve also been preparing seeds for the homes new development, a raised planter sensory area.
Throughout their hard work, everyone enjoyed nibbles, an ice cream and chilled wine.
Once the new garden area is completed, Falstone Court will be having an official opening and naming day to celebrate.
The Residents had a great day and loved talking about what the seeds would become once they bloomed, commenting:
“We’re really looking forward to the new garden area, we might have some home grown fruits to pick and enjoy!”
