HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor care home in Camelon, Falkirk organised a smoothie tasting afternoon for Residents on Friday 11th October.
Residents were treated to a variety of smoothies to sample, with different colours and flavours, including, strawberry, banana, mango, pineapple, blueberry, raspberry, orange, kiwi, grape and spinach.
While some were less interested in trying the different smoothies, most Residents were interested in the sampling the fresh fruit blends.
The most popular flavours were strawberry and banana, Residents were pleasantly surprised by some of the flavours they likes, Charlie said: “The green one doesn’t look very nice but it tastes the best.”
Glynis Crossley, Kinnaird Manor Home Manager said: “It was wonderful to see Residents trying new things and seeing which flavours they liked, we hope to organise more activities like this in the future.”
