Falkirk care home enjoys wild visit from ZooLabHC-One’s Kinnaird Manor care home in Falkirk welcomed some weird and wonderful creatures when ZooLab visited the home in December.

ZooLab has a national network of rangers with their own team of animals who visit schools and care homes across the UK to deliver informative and engaging animal encounters.

Residents gathered in the lounge to welcome the ZooLab ranger and their collection of creatures, which included, Sally the snail, Sophie the snake and Rachel the rat. Everyone took turns holding the different animals and asking questions about their different behaviours, diet and natural habitats.

Glynis Crossley, Home Manager at Kinnaird Manor said: “It was lovely to see Residents enjoying meeting the animals and learning more about the different species, the smiles on their faces really said it all.”
