Residents and team members at HC-One’s Barleystone care home in Falkirk were excited to finally open their doors to visit from loved ones.
Everyone at Barleystone was over the moon when the government announced that indoor visits for one designated visitor were able to take place in care homes, Residents have been enjoying emotional reunions with, husbands, wives, sons and daughters.
One Resident commented: “You really take the little things for granted until you can no longer do them, being with the people that you love is so important.”
Barleystone Home Manager, Pamela Cummings said: “Being able to see their family face-to-face and even hold their hand briefly has made such a positive impact on the wellbeing of our Residents.”
