Falconry Display delights Residents at Clarendon Hall
Clarendon Hall Residents celebrated the RSPB Bird Watching Week with an extra special visit from Derek Tindall with his birds of prey.

Derek, who came from the Birds Of Prey Centre in Lincoln, came to the home and did a presentation for the Residents, visitors, family and friends.

Derek explained the history of how he began working with birds. His first bird, a Luna Falcon called Loxley began his passion. Derek's other birds included a 2 year old Barn Owl called Sky, Seth the Kestral, Lucka the Scops Owl and Manfred the Palm-nut Vulture.

Refreshments including some wonderful homemade cakes were served and Derek has promised to visit again in the summer and do a falconry display in the garden!

Home Manager, Nicola said:

"Everyone who attended to watch the presentation and see the birds were not disappointed in the high quality and information that Derek knew about the birds. It was a very enjoyable afternoon."
