Twelve Colleagues took twelve Residents from HC-One’s
Kirkby House care home, in Knowsley, Merseyside, to see the lights in Blackpool and what a lovely autumn evening it was.
Residents at the 44-bed residential dementia care home Mary A, Margaret, Norma, Mary S, Edna, Hannah, Josie, Hazel, Mary M, Lilian W, Paula, Fran B, and Colleagues Claire, Lawa, Sarah P, Sarah O, Lisa, Lil, Alison, Paula, Kelly, Kerry, Kirsty and Tracey had a wonderful time together, admiring the iconic beams and colourful lights, plus they even stopped off to enjoy a fish and chip supper.
Lil commented, “The lights are good.”
Paula said, “It was the best fish and chips I have had! This has been the best day.”
Norma added, “I love fish and chips.”
Tracey Conlin, Home Manager at Kirkby House, said, “Residents enjoyed the whole trip from getting on the coach to seeing the lights on the promenade. A lovely time was had by all.”
