The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll swung by Swallownest care home in Sheffield for an afternoon of singing and dancing as Residents celebrated Valentine’s Day.

There was a full house for the performance, with Residents’ friends and family joining them for the performance.

Elvis sang many of his classic songs, including a solo to some of the members of the audience.

June Bocking, a Resident, commented: “I am so happy after seeing Elvis perform. It has been a marvellous afternoon.”

Amanda Fields, Home Manager at Swallownest, said: “It was absolutely lovely to see the home so full of life and laughter. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when Elvis sang to some of our Residents individually.”
