Residents at Roseberry Court care home in Redcar and Cleveland were joined by their nearest and dearest to enjoy a special Christmas performance, featuring some of Elvis Presley’s most famous hits.
Elvis impersonator Mike Wilde performed a number of Elvis’ own songs, along with some all-time favourite Christmas songs.
Residents joined in with the performance, singing along, playing musical instruments and dancing along to the music.
Elvis put an extra smile on Residents’ faces as he handed out flower garlands to all the ladies in the room.
To help put an additional festive spin on the day, everyone finished off the show with warm mince pies and a glass of mulled wine.
Lillian, a Resident at the home, commented: “The show was fantastic! I knew all the songs and even sang along with Elvis.”
Alison Corner, Home Manager at Roseberry Court, said: “It was lovely to see so many smiling faces at the show. This was a truly magical afternoon.”
