At Overdene House, Resident Elsie found the confidence to finally take the plunge and go on a small outing to the local town centre.
Elsie enjoyed looking around the local shops and bought herself some new make up.
Then Elise and members of the care team sat outside and had a milkshake from the milkshake bar with Elsie choosing and Bueno milkshake of the men.
Elsie loved reminiscing about back when she was working and her late husband, and as she sat outside at the table, she loved watching the locals walking past.
The home have asked Elsie would she continue to come on outings now and she has said a big yes which is brilliant.
