
Residents from HC-One’s Murrayfield House care home in Edinburgh enjoyed a visit to Roseburn Park on Wednesday 16th October where they tried out a trishaw for the very first time.
A trishaw is a customised electric bike which allows people to enjoy the sites which being comfortable secure in a carriage, Residents were wrapped up warm and covered with a fleeced blanket for their tour of Roseburn Park.
They admired all of the wonderful scenery and wildlife, including, swans and herons. The pair also enjoyed waving to passers-by and chatting about all of the things they could see as they were cycled through the park.
One Resident commented: “What a lovely way to get to experience all of the park, I enjoyed my first trishaw ride and I hope to get the chance to do it again very soon.”
