A new Eco Farm initiative has proven a fantastic success amongst Residents living at Beauvale care home in Bingham, Nottingham.
Residents and Colleagues at Beauvale meet up with Ceri-Anne, a representative from Eco Farm, each week to join in with activities ranging from crafts to quizzes.
The activities alternate each week; one week Ceri-Anne will visit Beauvale with children from the local Serendipity’s Day Nursery, while the next week Residents visit Ceri-Anne at the farm.
Residents look forward to the farm visits, as they get to feed the animals, harvest vegetables and plant bulbs throughout the year.
One Resident commented: “It was lovely to get to know the children and help them with their arts and crafts.”
