Residents at April Park embraced the new activities on offer at the Eckington-based care home as they took a trip to the local swimming baths.
Swimming is one of the new activities on offer at April Park and aims to enhance Residents’ independence, fitness and wellbeing.
Everyone loved the trip to the swimming baths, as Residents walked and paddled up and down the pool.
Following such a successful first trip, April Park has decided to organise the swimming sessions on a weekly basis.
One Resident commented: “I love keeping active and really enjoyed swimming. I already cannot wait for next week.”
