April Park care home in Eckington was delighted to show its support to Alzheimer’s Society as Colleagues and Residents celebrated Elf Day 2019.
Colleagues at April Park welcomed Residents, Relatives and members of the local community to join in with the fundraising activities, as they put on their best elf attire to celebrate the day.
Elf Day takes place in December each year as a way of spreading festive cheer while raising money for Alzheimer’s Society to help people affected by dementia.
April Park was delighted to take part in the fundraising, as they provided a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats for guests and played a number of all-time favourite festive hits.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed the day, as Beryl even dressed up as Santa.
Gail Wardle, Home Manager at April Park, said: “Elf Day is a highly-anticipated event in our Christmas calendar every year, as Residents and their loved ones join together to raise money for such a fantastic cause.”
