Residents at April Park care home in Eckington were delighted to welcome the home’s little friend Poppy for a delicious lunchtime catch-up.
The home was full of smiles and laughter as Poppy sat with Residents John and Jim for their lunch, as they told her all about life at April Park and made some funny jokes!
Residents love spending time with Poppy, as one person said: “We always enjoy seeing Poppy. She’s a joy to have around and always gets us all laughing.”
A fellow Resident added: “I think Poppy is absolutely smashing.”
Gail Wardle, Home Manager at April Park, said: “Seeing the Residents enjoying their lunch with Poppy was great. It was nice to see them smile and laugh together.”
