Residents at
Chandlers Ford nursing and residential home had a colourful time celebrating ‘Rainbow Day’ today.
All staff and Residents were involved in decorating the home in vibrant rainbow colours and a super time was had by all, which included fun games and a lovely tea party.
The theme was to raise awareness around inclusivity and how it is important to be kind…always.
One Resident commented some very wise words, “Be a rainbow in someone else's cloud!”
John Harrod, who is a Resident at the home, really enjoyed the balloon games and said it was such fun!
Nancy Hicks, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was so lovely to see the Residents enjoying themselves and having fun with the care team.”
