Eastbourne House turn back time with Hancock Museum visitResidents and staff at Eastbourne House care home in Whitley Bay enjoyed a day of travelling back through time as they visited Hancock Museum.

The Hancock Museum, which contains natural history, archaeology, geology and world cultures, has collections varying from Hadrian’s Wall to fossils.

Everyone enjoyed taking in the sights of the museum, which included a dinosaur exhibit and a display featuring the Roman Empire Age.

Beatrice Smith, a Resident at the home, commented: “I had a great day, the Roman display was my favourite part!”

Debbie White, Home Manager at Eastbourne House, said: “At HC-One, we ensure Residents get to experience a wide variety of activities which are interesting and fun. Everyone loved the museum visit and went home with a great big smile on their faces.”
