Eastbourne House Residents enjoy fun trip to Ouseburn FarmResidents at Eastbourne House care home in Whitley Bay were delighted to visit the animals at Ouseburn farm.

Everyone got the opportunity to see the wide variety of farm animals on the day, including goats, pigs and horses, as well as some iguanas and tortoises.

The day concluded with everyone talking about the highlights of the trip over a hot drink.

Norma, a Resident at the home, commented: “It was a fantastic day. I liked seeing the sheep best!”

Debbie White, Home Manager at Eastbourne House, said: “The Residents loved meeting the different animals at Ouseburn Farm, which sparked up a lot of interesting conversation about everyone’s experiences at farms in their younger years.”
