Colleagues at
Melbury Court nursing, general residential and residential memory care home, in Durham, have been celebrating two Colleagues receiving ‘Kindness in Care’ awards from HC-One.
Michelle Connor, Head Housekeeper and Jack Parker, Wellbeing Coordinator were both awarded a Kindness in Care award at Melbury Court today.
Manager Hazel Southern, pictured, sprung the awards on them in the staff meeting held at the home. Both Michelle and Jack were very surprised but also delighted to receive their awards. They received their awards due to commitment and dedication to the home and the Residents. Nothing is too much for either staff member and they are very well liked amongst the Residents and Relatives.
Michelle and Jack both commented, “It is really nice to feel appreciated for all the hard work we do.”
Hazel added, “They are both hardworking and go above and beyond, so it is nice to show our appreciation.”
