HC-One’s Ridgeway Lodge care home in Dunstable organised a memory walk to raise awareness and funds of the Alzheimer’s Society.
A group of thirty-four Residents, members of the team and their loved ones came together to walk through Dunstable with flags, banners and t-shirts.
All of their efforts were to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, which will help to fund vital research which aims to improve care for people with dementia and ultimately finding a cure.
The walk was extra special for Mike, a Resident at Ridgeway Lodge who was also celebrating his birthday. Mike commented that he loved spending time with his friends in the fresh air while raising awareness for such an amazing charity.
