Residents at HC-One’s The Beeches care home in Dunfermline are enjoying a daily practice of the centuries-old system of Qigong.
Qigong is the practice of coordinated body-posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for the purposes of health, spirituality, and martial-arts training. Residents at The Beeches have started practice Qigong on a daily basis as part of their relaxation time.
One Resident commented: “I am really enjoying our Qigong sessions, they are very relaxing and make me feel good.”
The Beeches Home Manager, Diane Cain said: “It’s great to see our Residents enjoying Qigong, which is known to have a significant positive impact on people’s physical and emotional wellbeing.”
