HC-One’s Balcarres Care Home in Broughty Ferry, Dundee is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Inspectorate.
The team at Balcarres Care Home were delighted to have received an impressive Care Inspectorate report that rated the home as ‘Very Good’ in ‘Environment’, with an ‘Excellent’ in three out of the four areas, ‘Care and Support’, ‘Staffing’ and ‘Management and Leadership’.
The inspectors were full of praise for colleagues at Balcarres, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. This sentiment was echoed by relatives of the Residents, who made remarks such as “I am happy in the knowledge that Balcarres staff take great care of my relative” and “I have nothing but praise for the overall care at Balcarres”.
Residents also told inspectors how happy they were with the level of support received, commenting “I like living here” and “[I’m] made to feel really welcome”.
