Dukinfield care home receive letters from local schoolResidents at HC One’s Yew Trees care home have received a number of letters from pupils at a local school today.

Audenshaw high school pupils took time out to write out some lovely letters and poems. These were then delivered to the care home to bring a smile to the Residents faces.

Some of the staff from the high school brought the letters to the home and read a few of these out loud. Some of the Residents chose to sit and read the letters themselves too. The letters were then put up around the home on display so Residents and staff can read them when they need a pick me up.

One of the Residents commented ‘The letters brought a tear to me eyes, they were wonderful!’ and another said ‘What lovely children to send us the cards and letters.’
