This week at Bankwood care home, there have been four birthdays to celebrate, including a big 90th!
Colleagues at the Duffield home helped all four of the ladies celebrate their birthdays this week, including June’s big 90th birthday on the 24th March!
Presents, cards and beautiful bouquets of flowers were given out to the Residents to celebrate their special day, it really brought a smile to their faces.
One of the Residents commented “We had a great day, missed our families but it was nice to be able to call them."
There was plenty of birthday cake to go around in the home on the afternoon, and it was lovely for the Residents to spend their birthdays having Skype and phone calls with their families, so they could still see and hear them during this difficult time.
