Dudley care home Residents enjoy St David’s Day craftsResidents have been taking part in Welsh-themed arts and crafts sessions this week to celebrate St David’s Day at HC-One’s Ashgrove care home in Netherton, West Midlands.

Residents made their own frames decorated with Welsh flags, dragons and daffodils, the national flower of Wales. Inside they wrote their memories about trips to the country and reminisced about holidays with their families.

St David’s Day marked the beginning of springtime at Ashgrove so Residents took it upon themselves to make some spring-themed crafts as well. They had fun painting plant pots with beautiful designs.

Brenda, a Resident at Ashgrove, said: “I’ve really enjoyed the activities today. I can’t wait to plant some flowers in the pots.”
