Dudley care home Residents enjoy archery funResidents at HC-One’s Ashgrove care home were delighted as they were able to take part in an archery lesson from local organisation Kickstart.

Laughter was had by all as everyone tried their hand at archery, with some Residents showing a hidden talent for the sport.

Relatives also joined in the excitement, as they and the Residents learned techniques and took guidance from Nicky, representative from Kickstart, and gradually improved during the activity.

Residents remarked at how much they enjoyed the session, looking forward to hopefully taking part in the activity again soon.

Julie Jones, home manager, commented: “Everyone fully enjoyed themselves, still speaking about the activity the next day. Not only was the activity good fun for everyone, but it was wonderful in strengthening the upper body.”
