Residents at Ashgrove care home enjoyed their first meeting together after creating a fan club around their most liked celebrity – Mario Lanza.
The first meeting began with Residents discussing Mario’s early life and career before listening to a variety of his most popular songs.
Everyone shared their favourite memories of films and songs involving Mario Lanza and agreed that during their next meeting, they hope to play a DVD of one of his films.
One Resident remarked: “He’s such a beautiful man with a beautiful voice, he’s definitely one of my favourite celebrities.”
