Residents at HC-One’s Ashgrove care home enjoyed an afternoon of shopping as they visited their local shopping centre to have a look around.
The Residents and a group of Colleagues, took a walk around the centre as they looked in various shops, purchasing a selection of items such as clothing and jewellery.
One Resident enjoyed it so much, as they remarked that they were so pleased to have visited the local shopping centre they once frequented regularly.
Julie Jones, Home Manager, commented: “It’s lovely to hear that the Residents have enjoyed themselves so much. They really enjoy shopping and the independence this offers.”
