Residents at HC-One’s Ashgrove care home were delighted to join together as they sang alongside the local church.
The church lead the way as they all sang a varierty of traditional hymns and carols for all to enjoy and sing along to, before prayers were said and well-wishes exchanged.
The performance ended with everyone singing upbeat Christmas songs, such as ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’ and ‘Jingle Bells’.
Residents remarked at how wonderful the service had been, and how magical it felt to be a part of it.
Julie Jones, home manager, commented: “Everyone has had such a lovely afternoon singing and listening to the choir perform. We have well and truly got into the festive spirit.”
