On 25th January, for Burns Night, the Residents at
Dove Court residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care home, in Burnley, had a lovely time celebrating.
The event involved tasting a bit of haggis, shortbread, oatcakes, and whiskey. The Residents also enjoyed playing a Robert Burns themed bingo to celebrate the life and works of the Scottish poet.
Everyone particularly enjoyed the bingo and one Resident said. “Thank you for a lovely afternoon!”
