Residents at HC-One’s
Douglas View, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Hamilton were invited to a Remembrance Service.
The Residents at the care home were invited down to the local Co-op for a Remembrance Service along with some afternoon tea.
Residents were driven down in fancy cars and given a lovely warm welcome. They were able to meet and pay respects to war veterans and reminisce over a cup of tea.
The day was concluded when the pipe band visited Douglas View for a Remembrance Day performance.
The Residents really enjoyed meeting new friends.
Care Home Manager, commented, “Thank you very much to the Co-op for allowing our Residents to be a part of this important day.”
