Residents and care colleagues from HC-One’s Avalon Park had a very special visit from a donkey friend.
She came from the local Donkey Sanctuary and was a huge hit with all the Residents who loved giving her a stroke and talking to her.
Resident Nellie had a giggle when the donkey made a beeline for her bag as she had some Mints stashed in there.
Animal therapy sessions are hugely popular in the home and another example of how HC-One homes can provide the kindest possible care for the Residents.
