The Beeches care home in Doncaster was delighted to receive a special Christmas gift from a friend of the home.
Residents and staff shared the gift together, which was a handmade Christmas cake with intricately detailed icing on top.
One Resident commented: “The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. It was a very kind donation and helped us get ready for the festive period.”
Bea Gibbons, Home Manager at The Beeches, said: “It is a lovely gesture for someone to put such an amazing effort into making a special cake for us here at The Beeches.”
