A Resident at HC-One’s Shelton Lock care home in Derby has found comfort in caring for a doll.
Marjory, a lovely lady living with dementia at Shelton Lock would often wander and find herself at a loose end. The team introduced Marjory to a doll they received as part of a special memory hamper, she quickly named her new baby Rosemary.
The comfort and happiness that Rosemary has given Marjory were evident immediately, she now spends her time caring for her baby which is a delight to for all to see.
