Colourful celebrations were enjoyed at HC-One’s Mornington Hall care home as everyone enjoyed celebrating Diwali together.
Diwali is a Hindu festival of light, celebrating the victory of light over darkness, and good over evil.
The home was decorated wonderfully as the catering team created a variety of delicious Indian treats and snacks, as well as some colourful cakes for all to enjoy.
Beautiful music played throughout the home, as Residents danced along before sitting to enjoy learning about the history of Diwali.
Anthony Carlin, home manager, commented: “It has been lovely to celebrate this exciting day. It has been a wonderful example of teamwork across the entire home as we have experienced the wonder that is Diwali.”
