Four Residents from HC-One’s Dingle Meadow Care Home in Oldbury, West Midlands enjoyed a day out to West Brom Hub, run by Age UK.
Dingle Meadow now has a link with Age UK, which enables them to use their Hub. This particular session was for men to attend, to play pool, dominoes, draughts etc.
The event enables Residents to meet and chat to others in a safe and stimulating environment.
Jack and Sydney enjoyed playing with very little assistance from their frames and the team at Dingle Meadow, whilst Eric and John had a great time playing dominoes and draughts.
The four gentlemen found the day very entertaining, they loved getting out to a different environment and being able to be more independent, commenting:
“Can we go again next week?!”
