The wonderful activity team at HC-One’s
Gittisham Hill House residential, nursing and dementia care home, in Devon have worked so hard to put on a great show for the Residents this afternoon, so they could all enjoy some James Bond indulgence.
Residents were treated to fun and games at the casino including card games, roulette and of course everyone loved an inflatable dice and launch of balloons to really get the party started!
The pictures speak for themselves and they were able to share some of the experience with other homes in the area over Zoom.
One of the Residents commented on the card games, “I remember playing this years ago!”
Everyone particularly enjoyed the balloon launch from the ceiling net and Colleagues dressing up in fancy clothing, “I loved seeing the team in their evening wear.” One Resident had remarked.
Julia Heneker, Care Home Manager, commented, “One of my most favourite afternoons, I must admit it was a shame Daniel Craig wasn’t there, but actually we made the best of it and all had a fabulous time at the casino.”
