Residents at
Gittisham Hill House residential, nursing and dementia care home, in Honiton, were out in the sunshine getting great exercise with their beach ball.
Most days, weather permitting, Residents love to wear their sunhats and sit in the garden. Today, this was followed up with of course homemade cakes and tea on the lawn.
Residents love being outdoors and exercise is so good for everyone, so a game of beach ball lifts lifted everyone’s spirits and supports great teamwork at the same time.
One of the Residents commented, “Makes me feel like I’m at the beach.”
Another responded, “I love the beach”
The activities team commented, “The good weather brings Residents and staff together for some well-earned fun in the sun. Great exercise too!”
