Residents at HC-One’s Bankwood care home, located in the beautiful Amber Valley in Derbyshire celebrated VE Day this year with a grand old celebration.
Colleagues planned a big celebration for this years VE Day, with Union Jack outfits, buntings and flags handed out.
The food was prepared by Katrina the homes weekend chef. Residents had a buffet and a lovely Victoria cake with the union jack on as a decoration in fruit.
Colleagues also played 1950’s music playing which made it a perfect day for Residents who gave Colleagues some great feedback on a successful day.
Lying in the beautiful Amber Valley in Derbyshire, Bankwood is a friendly, welcoming 40 bed care home, which offers residential and nursing care.
